I grew up in the late '90s and early 2000s, and I'm pretty convinced we had it pretty good.
The internet was still something you had to log onto. Your friends weren't always a text away. Saturdays felt like they lasted forever, and sometimes the best part of the day was having absolutely nothing planned.
I remember instant messaging, away messages, profile pages, website visitor counters, CDs, disposable cameras, printed directions, hanging out at the mall, and riding bikes until it got dark.
We didn't know we were making memories. We were just living.
I've spent over 20 years working as a graphic designer, and P1 Everyday is where I get to turn those memories into something new.
Every design starts with an idea of mine. Sometimes it's a phrase we all said. Sometimes it's something we wore, somewhere we went, or a feeling that's hard to explain unless you were there.
I use modern creative tools, including AI, to help bring those ideas to life. But the concepts, creative direction, and final decisions are mine. Every shirt is made to order.
I'm not trying to bring back the past. I just think there's a lot from those days worth carrying into the present.
